A rare and historically significant piece of WWI history. This Colt 1911 was manufactured in 1918 specifically for the British Royal Air Force and bears the coveted RAF stamp. With only 10,000 produced in .455 calibre, this is an exceptionally rare find for the serious collector.
Comes complete with its genuine US-stamped 1918 leather holster — an outstanding matched set that is 108 years old and presented in very good condition.
