We're incredibly proud to announce that one of our own, Christopher Hughes, will be representing the NRA Australia Imperial CSR Team at the prestigious 157th Imperial Civilian Service Rifle (CSR) Competition — held at the world-renowned Bisley Shooting Grounds, just outside Woking, England.

The Imperial CSR is a five-day event with a long and storied history, bringing together both historic and modern shooters to test their skills across distances ranging from 25 yards out to 500 yards. Competitors shoot from a variety of positions, barricades, and movement-to-fire scenarios, including the challenging Run-Down, Urban, and Falling Plates matches.
Team events are a highlight of the competition — and this year, the NRA Australia CSR Team will be competing in both the Methuen and Falling Plates team matches. These are heavily contested by teams from across the UK and Europe, and will be spread throughout the five days of individual competition — a true test of skill and resilience.
The team will field two squads:
Chris will be running his Tikka T3X Varmint paired with a Steiner T5Xi 5-25×56 — a combination that has proven itself through training and delivers the reliability, repeatability, and confidence needed on the firing line.
One variable outside his control: ammunition. Travelling internationally with weight restrictions means hand-loaded rounds aren't an option. Chris will be shooting factory ammunition from a trusted source with a strong reputation for accuracy and consistency. Several range days are planned ahead of the competition to confirm data and dial in the load — and the team has high confidence heading in.
