A Weekend to Remember – The 2026 BSF Invitational Wrap-up

What an incredible weekend! The inaugural 2026 BSF Invitational, proudly presented by Barry & Son Firearms, Beretta Australia and Peel Clay Target Club, was a tremendous success and a fitting celebration of 500 years of Beretta (1526–2026).

Held from 16–18 October at Peel Clay Target Club, the three-day event brought together competitors, families and shooting enthusiasts from across Western Australia and beyond for a fantastic weekend of competition, camaraderie, outstanding hospitality and some truly incredible prizes.

The festivities kicked off on Friday with a fantastic turnout and beautiful spring weather. Throughout the weekend, the Barry & Son Firearms and Beretta Australia teams were kept busy conducting firearm fittings and helping competitors get the most out of their equipment. The exclusive Beretta 500 Years merchandise also proved extremely popular with visitors.

Saturday saw even more competitors and spectators enjoying the atmosphere, with families and friends gathering to share in the celebrations. Peel Clay Target Club delivered exceptional hospitality throughout the event, including a special Italian-themed dinner on Saturday evening. A surprise 500th birthday cake celebration for the Beretta team provided a memorable highlight and a wonderful tribute to five centuries of Italian craftsmanship and innovation.

By Sunday, the inaugural BSF Invitational had firmly established itself as an event to remember. The standard of competition, superb prizes and, above all, the friendship and enthusiasm shared throughout the weekend made the occasion something truly special.

Most importantly, beyond the competition and the prizes, this weekend was about bringing people together, celebrating our shared passion for shooting sports and having a great time doing it.
